On Sunday afternoon, my husband and I took the children to the garden to relax. The garden was full of people, mostly children running around and young parents chasing after them. Only in the southeast corner of the garden was relatively quiet, there was a group of people around, and there were faint singing. My husband and I took the children over, found a step and sat down to see what happened.
There is a large sheet music hanging between the two trees. On one side of the sheet music stands an old man with gray hair, and on the other side stands an old lady. Opposite them, there were a dozen old ladies standing in a fan shape, and an old lady was sitting on the pony in the middle. Water cups, cloth bags, etc. are scattered around. It turned out to be a group of old men and women entertaining themselves.
With the light dance of the old man's baton, the old lady on one side said: "The smoke is billowing, sing..." The beautiful melody of the heroic hymn rang out. The vicissitudes of the voice and the majestic melody are integrated, which is refreshing. After a few songs, the old people's interest did not diminish, especially when they sang: "Chairman Mao's use of soldiers is really like a god", the old lady who sang the lead stomped her feet, waved her arm vigorously, and a decisive "Hi" popped out, and suddenly laughed One piece, this spiritual leader, to use a tide phrase - very powerful. After the chorus, there was a personal performance by the old men and the old ladies. The singers were devoted and the listeners were attentive. The applause was very warm and the atmosphere was very good. Even me, a bystander, was eager to try it.
I envied them very much, and said to my husband: "It's better to be older, to arrange time freely, to act without any scruples, and to be free."
Husband disagreed: "Happy or unhappy has nothing to do with age, the key lies in your own mentality. A person who is melancholy even when the leaves fall, even if he is dressed in brocade and food every day, he is not happy."
Husband's words sound a bit unpleasant, but the truth is intriguing. Yes, many people always feel that there is no happiness in the past, there are too many troubles in life, the passing time is youth, and the current days are constantly running around, for the sake of Children, for a living, worry too much, little heart can not contain the seeds of happiness, how can I expect happiness to knock on the door.
