如何合理选用解热镇痛药？
根据病人的指征、机体状况及药物的适应证、禁忌症等综合因素考虑选药。 （1）一般以疗效确切、毒性低、价格较便宜的药物如阿司匹林及其复方制剂为首选药，次之选用对乙酰氨基酚、布洛芬及其复方制剂等。解热应用不超过3天，镇痛应用不超过5天； （2）对于长期高热的疾病如血吸虫病、伤寒、晚期癌症可考虑应用消炎痛栓剂; （3）儿科用药最好仅限阿司匹林，对乙酰氨基酚、布洛芬及其复方制剂；

（1）尽管本类药物近年发展很快，但目前抗炎镇痛仍以疗效确切、不良反应轻、价格便宜或适中的阿司匹林、布洛芬、芬必得、萘普生及双氯芬酸为首选药，吲哚美辛和保泰松虽然抗炎作用强、但副作用亦大，故保泰松已很少用药，而吲哚美辛只作为二线药，用于重症或其他药物无效的替代药物； （2）由于本类药物的疗效和不良反应有个体差异，通常先选一种药，并逐渐加大剂量，待有效后逐渐减量，使用2～3周后无效，可更换品种

含有氨基比林的复方制剂如氨咖啡片、去痛片、安痛定等应慎用，因为氨基比林易发生粒细胞缺乏症肌生成致癌物质亚硝胺。粒细胞缺乏时，病人容易感染，可出现高热、头痛、咽痛、极度疲乏及衰竭，口腔、咽颊、直肠都可发生溃疡，甚至坏死。感染可迅速扩散至全身各部，并容易发生败血症和脓毒血症，病势凶险，如不及时治疗，病人有可能死亡，故服用本品要注意。为此，OTC目录中没有此药。
